(PROLOGUE) No one knows where the Nephilim came from or why Some claim they’re God’s sentinels on Earth Others say they’re unholy creatures With powers beyond the ken of humans There are tales of them descending to earth In blinding flashes of light Brighter than a thousand suns.. And they’re here now…and they watch … Everything… DISCOVERY You wait until the worlds are gone And then you see where you belong Living through lifetimes Of Discovery Miniscule…Your meaning in life is miniscule And then I take you to the edge We walk among the sea of faces Silent in scrutiny You know what I mean You wait until the worlds are gone And then you see where you belong Living through lifetimes Of Discovery With fatal anger Man defies Only to be born, then he dies Wander through centuries Of Discovery Mysteries…The secrets of life and all unseen That the God of Moses showed to you We gave the world Osiris’ secrets And Maya’s children weep And still we get no sleep You wait until the worlds are gone And then you see where you belong Living through lifetimes Of Discovery With fatal anger Man defies Only to be born, then he dies Wander through centuries Of Discovery I see you through life-worn eyes Your silhouette is fading Along with the seed of humanity Miniscule…Your meaning in life is miniscule And then I take you to the edge We gave the world Osiris’ secrets And Maya’s children weep And still we get no sleep You wait until the worlds are gone And then you see where you belong Living through lifetimes Of Discovery With fatal anger Man defies Only to be born, then he dies Wander through centuries Of Discovery We’ll never sleep…

Precipice 02:41
PRECIPICE The Grigori were always the Observers Never deigning to interfere in the affairs of Man. But there were a few of the Immortals who faltered And lay with mortal females. Their offspring, the Anakim, were thought of as Abominations. Beautiful in almost every aspect, The Anakim wielded the power of God’s own angels But they were fundamentally flawed. Almost every Anakim born was insane. It is said that God bade the Grigori To watch over their bleak brothers. But some of the Anakim escaped And wreaked havoc on human civilizations. Emriel was on one of these renegade Anakim. The Grigori elders instructed the Nephilim, Avariel To capture his errant brother and return him for judgement. A chase that has led both through the eons.

HOLD YOU DOWN Hope is lost on a saviour I could never be To place your trust on a favour I would never give Turn the corner to think I’ll be waiting, what did you believe Am I all that you hoped for Foolish dream I will be the one To hold you down I will be the one To bring you down As the fires burn And you take your turn It seems that you’ll never learn that I will be the one To hold you down Words will never redeem My personality It’s all part of the scheme You have my sympathy Twice betrayed by your kin How you were deceived Who will you turn to now? The Grigori? I will be the one To hold you down I will be the one To bring you down As the fires burn And you take your turn It seems that you’ll never learn that I will be the one To hold you down

Eye Of Ra 02:14
EYE OF RA There are said to be records, secret histories of the Anakim, Their very words, an anathema to the Nephilim However, the ties of kin prove to be even stronger than their loathing The desperate need to usher the willful ones back into the fold Occupies an important place in the psyche of the Nephilim For Avariel, his duty holds no pleasure Much of the chaos wrought by Emriel is a beacon Beckoning Avariel to follow errant brother Through his myriad schemes of madness Avariel had hoped that Emriel would eventually realise his folly And perhaps, even experience remorse But it appears that Emriel’s rage has yet to dissipate

BREAK THROUGH You said you’d pray Pray by my side Breaking your vigil How could I know you lied D’you know how many Times I’ve tried There’s been no limit To what you’ve defiled I can feel you I can taste you No one loves you Like I do There’s never Too much you can take It’s time To roll out your dead And I will break through There’s nothing you’ll do And I will break you I’ll tear you in two You said you’d spare Spare de Molay’s life They were no threat Yet you took Philip’s side There are no rules You’ll just set them aside All this time, it’s the waste I can’t abide Does it please you That they knew you Did they rue you Like I do There’s never Too much you can take It’s time To roll out your dead And I will break through There’s nothing you’ll do And I will break you I’ll tear you in two
6.
PLAINS OF DESPAIR They say history always repeats itself The Watchers have come to see the truth of it That history is nothing but the perpetuation of one mistake after another Although Jehovah had instructed them to observe and not interfere The Nephilim also realise that such absolutes merely distance them Further from the affairs of Man It is no wonder that the Anakim exhibit similar tendencies Of taking matters into their own hands What is an Anakim but the fruit of a Nephilim’s disobedience? Emriel’s arrogance stems from the same vein A suspended disbelief of what the Nephilim are and stand for His incursions into human history are well-recorded From the Plagues of Egypt to the razing of Rome Emriel’s handiwork is unmistakable

Bring It On 03:42
BRING IT ON I’ve toppled worlds with a flick of the wrist You can bring it on Lives laid to waste on the breath of a kiss You can take me on I could take you out there I could say I don’t care I could make it your day Or I could make it my way There used to be a time When I’d pray for hope Anything that mattered Was nothing but a joke I believed in truth that you could not see But now I wonder just who are we? I’ve toppled worlds with a flick of the wrist You can bring it on Lives laid to waste on the breath of a kiss You can take me on I could take you out there I could say I don’t care I could make it your day Or I could make it my way When did I lose my innocence I wish I’d never got my Seventh Sense Do you recall when Ramses lost his hold Or when Nero played As they took the torch to Rome I’ve seen their souls scattered by the winds History’s mine to make while your ‘holy host’ sings I’ve toppled worlds with a flick of the wrist You can bring it on Lives laid to waste on the breath of a kiss You can take me on I could take you out there I could say I don’t care I could make it your day Or I could make it my way
8.
NATURE OF A SYLLOGISM The patience of the Nephilim is past legendary “Worlds come and go. Yet we have all the time in the world” Is somewhat of an adage among the Nephilim Seemingly humourous, The old saying encompasses the duty of every Nephilim Through the eons, Avariel has scarcely deviated from his goal He pursues Emriel with a vengeance and sorrow Matched only by the zeal in his belief That every Anakim has to be brought under the control of the Elders Avariel will face Emriel, of that he is certain
9.
I’LL BE WAITING How do I make you see The course that you disbelieve Even if I set you free We’re still the ones that you need These humans that you treat as toys Will be the ones to send you to the void There’s still a chance to save your soul Just as long as you do what you’re told We’ve seen your kind through history And your vacant ideology From the path that you leave To seal your destiny I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting for you There’s nothing you can do I’ll be waiting for you Why would you disagree With the written prophecy Deviate if you please You know we won’t let you leave All the things that you’ve destroyed Will haunt your fall right through the void Just reach out if you’re bold And return to the fold We’ve seen your kind through history And your vacant ideology From the path that you leave To seal your destiny I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting for you And there’s nothing you can do I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting I’ll be waiting for you And there’s nothing you can do

Solitude 02:36
SOLITUDE Is remorse truly an expression of guilt? Or does remorse reside in one’s mind to ease one’s conscience? There is a Nephilim saying: “Who knows the mind of the Anakim?” Similarly, Emriel is at once replete with guilt and with self-righteousness Avariel believes that Emriel may be swayed by his conscience in the end But in order for that to happen, Avariel needs to trust Emriel How does one trust an Anakim bent on destruction of His creation?

Save My Soul 03:41
SAVE MY SOUL River, mountain, sea and sky Is falling, falling We wait until the end to see the light All we ever had and loved Is burning, burning Part of me will always love the night Oh, save my soul Oh, save my soul Consequence or circumstance I ponder, ponder Responsibility denied Would He have agreed to Compromise I wonder So much for freewill to decide Oh, save my soul Oh, save my soul Ah, to be the secret hand That shapes the world of man And when His kingdom comes Then will I be done If I ever live to see the end I wonder Would my life be worth a grain of sand But the time for doubts is truly Over, over I’ve crossed the rubicon against His hand Oh, save my soul Oh, save my soul
12.
Desolation 04:05
DESOLATION Where are you now? Where are you going? I can see the trail you’ve left It’s like ribbons in the wind All that you hate For you will wait There will come a day When it will flood your senses Oh, such desolation Oh, such contradiction The end of you is near And who will shed a tear For all it’s worth I still pray for your salvation On this narrow road I will shed my load All the pain you caused Will be turned upon you What is it worth The suffering you birthed He will smite your hand And turn you to dust upon a hill Oh, such contradiction Oh, such desolation The end of you is near And who will shed a tear For all it’s worth I still pray for your salvation

Nexus Mundi 02:07
NEXUS MUNDI An all-consuming rage would push the boundaries of one’s limits And perhaps beyond It is no small feat to control such surge of anger, To focus it to the finest point But malice is quite a different creature A distinction that an Anakim is intimately aware of Emriel’s constant challenge to Avariel’s fortitude in his beliefs Is a powerful tool that may turn any Nephilim The sweetness of the irony Is something Emriel can almost savour However, Avariel is not easily distracted The wait may be longer than Emriel desires
14.
Later 05:49
LATER Tell me, what do you see Is this all it will be A fatal flaw in your plan You never do what you can Just feel the power in your soul Release what you’ve been told The world is ours to do as we please Stop being such a tease I will be seeing you later I will be seeing you later You can try but you won’t save Her I will be seeing you later You hear the truth in my voice Don’t despair, just make your choice How long will you let them rule you Reach out and take your due There is no other way Every day’s a game to play A thousand variations Come to but one conclusion I will be seeing you later I will be seeing you later You can try but you won’t save Her I will be seeing you later I tire of your sobriety And the sham of your piety Leave the world to the dogs Take the key, it’s your lot Just feel the power in your soul Release what you’ve been told The world is ours to do as we please Relinquish your beliefs I will be seeing you later I will be seeing you later You can try but you won’t save Her I will be seeing you later

PROPHECY =(Form and Substance)= The signs of Lemech Where questions coincide When we were giants of men As Gilgamesh once tried Noah knew How the Anakim would stray And through all his seed The generations pay Trace the legacy Of a Fallen Race Enoch teach me Of the trials I must face Heed then the Prophecy Err not in your way Shemyaza be with thee The Watchers prevail From the fields of Sumer Did we make our way Through the Plague of Black We came to this very day When the sphinx crumbles The stars they will fall Then you and I together Will walk through the Halls =(Confrontation)= =(Assimilation)= =(Slave To Knowledge)= =(A Return To Form and Substance)= Trace the legacy Of a Fallen Race Enoch teach me Of the trials I must face Heed then the prophecy Err not in your way Shemyaza be with thee The Watchers prevail Trace the legacy Of a Fallen Race Enoch please teach me Of the trials I must face Heed then the Prophecy Err not in your way Shemyaza be with thee The Watchers prevail Heed the Prophecy Of a Fallen Race My Race, My Race (EPILOGUE) And through the ages The Grigori have seen The rise and fall Of infinities Distant futures For you and me And still they watch…
