They say history always repeats itself
The Watchers have come to see the truth of it
That history is nothing but the perpetuation of one mistake after another
Although Jehovah had instructed them to observe and not interfere
The Nephilim also realise that such absolutes merely distance them
Further from the affairs of Man
It is no wonder that the Anakim exhibit similar tendencies
Of taking matters into their own hands
What is an Anakim but the fruit of a Nephilim’s disobedience?
Emriel’s arrogance stems from the same vein
A suspended disbelief of what the Nephilim are and stand for
His incursions into human history are well-recorded
From the Plagues of Egypt to the razing of Rome
Emriel’s handiwork is unmistakable
