lyrics

SOLITUDE

Is remorse truly an expression of guilt?
Or does remorse reside in one’s mind to ease one’s conscience?
There is a Nephilim saying: “Who knows the mind of the Anakim?”
Similarly, Emriel is at once replete with guilt and with self-righteousness
Avariel believes that Emriel may be swayed by his conscience in the end
But in order for that to happen, Avariel needs to trust Emriel
How does one trust an Anakim bent on destruction of His creation?
